Alexandra Horn is Head of Support for SMEs at the German Institute for Standardization (DIN) since August 2019. In her role at DIN she ensures that SME obtain a better access to the standardization process. 

Prior to that she was Head of Cooperation and Projects at the German Association of SMEs (Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft). She acquired and managed publicly funded projects, such as e.g. the Mittelstand 4.0 Competence Center Berlin. Her first professional post was at FleishmanHillard in Brussels. As Public Affairs consultant she advised companies and associations in the consumer and healthcare sector.
