Andrea Raffaelli is a Standardisation Policy Officer and Experts’ Coordinator at Small Business Standards (SBS), which he joined in September 2021.  

Andrea follows general standardisation policy developments and coordinates the work of SBS technical experts in ICT and digitalisation, machinery and lifts.

Andrea also represents SBS in several European Commission Committees and Experts Groups, as well as in advisory bodies within the European Standardisation Organisations. After completing his studies in politics and international relations in Italy, Andrea has acquired 10 years of experience in European affairs in Brussels, with a strong background in trade associations and European SME policy.
