While the European digital innovators are the main actors in the continental economic transformation, the network of the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) plays a crucial role in bridging companies with the sectors in need of digitalisation.

The European Commission has set up numerous ambitious goals for Europe’s Digital Decade 2030, among which:

  • Accelerating the digital transformation of the private and public sector through the uptake of advanced digital technologies – targeting to transform 75% of EU companies into Cloud/AI/Big Data users.
  • Ensuring that 90% of SMEs in the EU have at least a basic level of digital maturity.
  • Creating new European value chains.

European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) and SMEs
